Printeresting’s Ghost

Going forward, Printeresting is developing a series of collaborative projects that will take place not just online, but in the real world. These annual projects will include a print publication, but also much more: you can think of it as a multi-platform, geographically-dispersed, crowd-sourced symposium. We won’t be gathering in one place, so it’s not exactly a conference. Perhaps more of a “confluence.”

This Fall, we’re launching our initial project, called “Ghost.”

Printeresting will organize several “Ghost”-related events and projects. But we also want to open participation in this confluence to the creative community at large. If you have an idea (or a venue) and would like to affiliate with Ghost, we’d like to hear from you.

Affiliated projects might include:

– print projects
– exhibitions
– events
– public lectures
– performances
– actions
– interventions
– critical writing

In the end, we will share the various affiliated Ghost projects online and via social media. We hope that the entire spectacle will generate vibrant creative projects, foster critical discussion, and present a new model for how a community can use digital media to collaborate.

All of this will happen in October/November of 2015. Please reach out to us if you’re interested, and join our mailing list for future announcements.
