COPYCOPYCOPYSHOP

Below are pics of Dutch artist Stephan Lerou’s latest project, COPYCOPYCOPYSHOP. Using Nishant Kumar’s short film Copy Shop as a reference, Lerou created a posters and business cards screenprinted with heat-sensitive ink meant to engage the view with the print experience. His goal was “to show the emotional quality of print. To make  a visual and haptic statement. To surprise the visitors, give them a more enticing and unique experience by touching a physical/printed piece.” He also mentions the relationship of the hand in analogue reproduction. This work is featured in a new, upcoming, book: ‘Look at Me! New Poster Design’ by Sandu Publishing.
