Prints Gone Wild! 2013

This past Friday night marked the 7th installment of Prints Gone Wild, “NYC’s Greatest Affordable Graphics Art Dogpile,” hosted by Cannonball Press at Littlefield NYC in Brooklyn. It was advertised in such a fine way that there’s really no reason for me to explain it differently:  Brooklyn’s own legendary Cannonball Press…assembled an extraordinary menagerie of graphic artists under one roof [to]display and sell their prints for $50 or less for one night only. Sounds like a good time right? Exactly right.

Hosts of the evening, Martin Mazorra and Mike Houston of Cannonball Press

Prints Gone Wild ran in conjunction with New York Print Week and the IFPDA Print Fair. A bunch of great artists and collectives were in attendance bringing affordable prints to the people. Live printing, music, and plenty of good drinks rounded out the night, which was packed from start to finish. People certainly do love cheap prints, and there was quite a selection to be loved and sold…and sell they did!  As is usually the case with these kind of print happenings, a lot was going on. See for yourself below.

Always a fun time. One night only this year meant that I had to skip part of dinner plans set forth months ago but it was more than worth being tardy and eating cold fish.
Thanks Cannonball for organizing this each year.
