To quote their website,
Iron Frog Press is "a small independent fine art printmaking studio with a large press." Based in Texas, it's no surprise that they'd take inspiration from a point of state pride- fried food at the Texas State Fair.
The list of fried delicacies includes fried banana split, fried peanut butter and jelly, and even fried beer. Finally, fried prints join the list!* Iron Frog Press' Master Printer Matt Bagley used two of his original woodcut print images to generate the deep-fried prints. The last photo shows the fried art with tempera paint and glitter condiments that are meant to add flavor. All photos courtesy: Sharon Neel-Bagley.
*The fried prints were actually made for a 2011 event called The Altered State Fair at The Kessler Theater in Dallas, Texas, but it's the first we've heard of it so it's news to us.
