More Good Commercials

This is a commercial for Target called “Cool Never Fades.” Designers worked at the Hamilton Wood Type Museum to “create some unique graphics” for the company’s fall collection.

By now it’s hard to remember how many ad campaigns have latched onto the letterpress revival. Some of these efforts (like this one) really are pretty great.

…But how long will it take for these ad agencies to realize how “authentic” intaglio printmaking is?

  1. Yea. Letterpress is very “in” right now. Just walk around the stores and you see designs intentionally referencing letterpress. I love it. 😀

    Looks they they ended up screenprinting the final product though.
