You Go, Goltzius!

Longtime readers know that Hendrick Goltzius is a close, personal friend of Printeresting.

In February we posted images of a wall installation made entirely of staples by Baptiste Debombourg, which was inspired by Goltzius’ “The Four Disgracers.

But Hendrick’s impact on contemporary art does not end there!

  1. I’ve always found Goltzius to be something of a modern artist in any case. One of my favorite art days ever was seeing the Goltzius exhibition at the Met and the Sarah Tze installation at the Whitney. They were nothing alike, but somehow they spoke to each other and me.
