These striking images of stamps are from this great website dedicated to posting about contemporary and vintage ephemera. It’s run by a designer based out of Belfast, Ireland, with a keen eye for typography and modern design.

Yes Amze! I’ve been following AceJet for almost 2 years now, always a good read. Those stamps up above are from the age when Canada was in its design prime, we had it locked down in the 60s-70s, or anything mid-century/modern design. Especially the Montreal 1976 olympic games, one of the best logos/branding for any olympic games, (besides Otl Aicher’s 1972 Munich games identity), as well as the Canadian National Railway (CN) logo, my favorite.

So true! It makes me think we need a Canadian Printeresting correspondent. Then we could call ourselves, “Printeresting Internationale”.

You know how I feel about Canada Amze. I can’t believe you all overlooked this.

I don’t know how we didn’t think of this earlier. It makes perfect sense now, first Canada and then.. the world!
