  1. this actually seems kind of awesome. not for the house of tillman, but for school/work. how would this be beyond a departmental budget? especially if you charged $15-20 a project

Weird! I just saw this on the home shopping network today. It looks really cool; pretty much the same as the old Gocco printers but bigger. Which is awesome because the Gocco’s small size was one of it’s biggest downfalls. Not to mention that the Gocco has recently been discontinued. I wonder if this company decided to just swoop in and start producing the same product under a different name?

I do consider the downfall of the item to be its expense and small scale. Of course, if I had no studio access, I would definitely consider such an item.

I actually own a Yudu machine and have used it hundreds of times. The screens that are available come in 70, 110, and 220 mesh and can create some pretty fantastic prints. However I do not use the emulsion sheets, but rather I bought a scoop coater and I use Speedball Photo Emulsion. But if your work is large, this is not for you. The largest you can really go is 11×14. You can of course print t-shirts, but if you use Speedball acrylic ink you can print on paper or canvas. In my opinion this is a great product and is worth every cent.
