Viva Los Videos! The Commercial Print Industry is Dying, Dead, Deader
Just… I don’t… Usually I’m not at a loss for words but… Just watch:
This “Power League of Printing” video was produced by the Printing Industries of America to attract young people to the trade. They also have a *cough* Myspace acount.
…Clearly these folks are in serious trouble.

WTF. I want those seven minutes of my life back.
I don’t think this video is going to save the WSJ… I agree with Jason – it’s a dangerous combination of long and bad.
It’s no Inkster the Viking.

I usually wear tank-tops and go tanning before I work at my local print shop, too.
I do not have the attention span, however, to watch a 7 minute and 2 second commercial. I don’t think anyone does.
After watching this video, yes all 7 minutes and 2 seconds, it embarrasses me. I have been involved in commercial printing field over 30 years and I cannot believe ANYONE would think this would empowered anyone to start a career in the commercial printing field. Maybe they thought this would go viral. Well, viral can be bad and good and this is definitely BAD.
